      The Government Office is a government institution established at the Government of the Republic and its function is to support the Government of the Republic and the Prime Minister in planning and implementing policy and ensuring good governance.
       

      The Government Office reports to the Government and the Prime Minister. The Government Office is run by the Secretary of State appointed and released from office by the Prime Minister.

      House

      Stenbock House – the Seat of Government and the Government Office of Estonia – is one of the most remarkable government buildings in the whole of Europe with its outstanding architecture and a location that enlivens the city skyline.

      The Stenbock House was built in 1792 and is at the disposal of the Estonian Government since the year 2000.
