Innovation Projects

Public sector innovation projects are funded through the Innovation Fund and the Innovation Programme. During the current EU funding period, the Innovation Fund supports projects that seek solutions for implementing the changes identified in the Estonia 2035 strategy by applying new knowledge and technologies. The Innovation Programme is an approximately eight-month design-thinking-based programme for developing public services. Since 2019, four Innovation Programmes have been carried out, involving a total of 26 projects.

    2.7.2. Demand- Responsive Transport

    Inimesed ümber laua, millele on laotatud suur Eesti kaart transpordivahendite mudelitega

    The aim is to increase spontaneous mobility for people living in rural areas, improve access to public services, support their return to the labour market, and thereby help reduce regional inequalities.

    Project duration: 2021–2022
    The project was implemented as part of the Innovation Programme.
