Pocket Siren is a unique technology that would deliver alerts instantly to recipients’ smartphones and signal a serious threat through sound, light and vibration. It would work even when the phone is set to silent mode or the mobile operator’s network is unavailable. In this way, it would function like a personal siren carried in every phone owner’s pocket.

Pocket Siren technology is based on 5G broadcast capabilities using high transmission towers. No such solution is currently in use anywhere in the world. Estonia’s aim is to test this innovative technology and deploy it if it proves suitable. If the trial is successful, the solution could also have significant export potential in the current security environment.
