Innovation Projects

Public sector innovation projects are funded through the Innovation Fund and the Innovation Programme. During the current EU funding period, the Innovation Fund supports projects that seek solutions for implementing the changes identified in the Estonia 2035 strategy by applying new knowledge and technologies. The Innovation Programme is an approximately eight-month design-thinking-based programme for developing public services. Since 2019, four Innovation Programmes have been carried out, involving a total of 26 projects.

    1.6.4. Prototype of a Crisis-Resilient Government Working Tool

    Laud veeklaasi, musta sülearvuti ning lillakas toonis infomaterjaliga

    The aim of the project is to develop a prototype of a next-generation, crisis-resilient working tool for the Government of the Republic. The tool will support the organisation of government work in a range of different situations. The solution will use modern technologies and artificial intelligence to support high-quality and transparent decision-making, reduce manual work in the government session process, and optimise the use of data.

    The project will explore and test the technical feasibility of the tool by developing a functional prototype.
