Innovation Projects

Public sector innovation projects are funded through the Innovation Fund and the Innovation Programme. During the current EU funding period, the Innovation Fund supports projects that seek solutions for implementing the changes identified in the Estonia 2035 strategy by applying new knowledge and technologies. The Innovation Programme is an approximately eight-month design-thinking-based programme for developing public services. Since 2019, four Innovation Programmes have been carried out, involving a total of 26 projects.

    2.5.3. Electronic Accommodation Registration Card

    Kollaaž majutuskaardi projektiga seotud inimeste fotodest

    The aim of the project was to make the registration of guests at accommodation establishments faster and more convenient, while also contributing to better protection of national security.

    Project duration: 2019
    The project was implemented as part of the Innovation Programme.
