Innovation Projects

The project focuses on developing a dynamic traffic management system for the City of Tallinn by addressing the problem of blocked intersections, introducing demand-responsive traffic signal programmes, and integrating them into traffic modelling software.

The project centres on smart technological solutions that enable real-time traffic flow management and optimisation. It will also assess whether, and on which key roads in Tallinn, a coordinated green-wave traffic signal system should be implemented during emergencies.

Project duration: 2025–2028
The project is funded by the Public Sector Innovation Fund
